Troy Rentz
PresidentThe founding of GCLM, along with other successful sister companies, was inspired by Mr. Troy Rentz’s vision to channel a lifetime of agricultural experience into opportunities that benefit both the farming community and agricultural landowners. A third-generation Floridian, Troy has a deep connection to the land and a legacy of service. He is a long-standing member of the Florida Farm Bureau and currently serves as State Director for the Volusia County Cattlemen’s Association, as well as the first Vice President of the Volusia County Fair. He is also actively involved in several other state and local agricultural organizations.
In 2018, Troy played a pivotal role in lobbying the state to regulate a $2 billion global agricultural commodity. His advocacy helped level the playing field for small farmers by introducing supply-chain permits as a condition of sale, allowing them to compete more effectively. He is also well-versed in Florida’s Right to Farm Act and is a strong advocate for protecting the rights of landowners.
Troy frequently speaks at industry events and conducts seminars on agricultural policy and land rights. He has built trusted relationships with key government agencies and local officials, reinforcing his commitment to integrity and professionalism.
Troy is equally dedicated to supporting the next generation. Every year, he donates his time and resources to FFA and 4-H youth programs at the Volusia County Fair. He resides in DeLand with his wife and two sons on their family ranch, where his values and vision continue to take root.
